"Since prevention is key, let's find the root cause instead of suppressing symptoms.
I give thorough primary care while educating and encouraging my patients to make healthy decisions. Receiving medical care from a naturopathic physician may be a different experience for some of my patients."

Dr. Corrie Thompson, NMD
Dr. Corrie Thompson focuses on finding and treating the root cause of an illness instead of suppressing its symptoms, avoiding harm to the patient with unwanted side effects of medications or procedures, keeping in mind the whole person when considering the care of a patient, assisting the body heal as it is genetically designed to do while removing obstacles to cure, emphasizing prevention, and educating the patient so they can make healthy decisions on their own. Each treatment plan is uniquely designed for each patient. Treatment may be implemented by means of education, nutrition/diet, exercise, physical examinations, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, lab testing, physical manipulation (adjustments), botanicals, and lifestyle coaching.
Dr. Corrie Jasmine Thompson grew up in Wisconsin and received degrees in Biology and Spanish from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She then attended Cornerstone in Buegen, the Netherlands, to obtain a certificate in Intercultural Studies. In 2010 she graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ. As a young girl, she knew she wanted to help others, and she was fascinated with the use of medicinal wild plants. When she first heard about naturopathic medicine and later attended SCNM, it became clearer and clearer that this occupation would be a great fit for her. Naturopathic medicine offers a hands-on style of medicine with physical manipulation (adjustments), soft tissue massage, and minor surgery. She now focuses on women’s medicine, gastrointestinal conditions, and thyroid conditions. Both men and women can schedule with her. She is bilingual (English and Spanish).
